The foundation of his business journey was laid in 1999, when Kamaraj started Elysium Technologies with ₹20,000. Working initially as a solopreneur, he took responsibility for different aspects of the business, including technical work, customer development, training, sales and administration. His experience as a computer networking professional helped him understand the growing demand for technology skills and digital solutions.

Kamaraj’s connection with electronics began during his childhood in Madurai.
