Jignesh Jani Encourages Peace and International Cooperation Through Astrological Reflection
Ahmedabad | July 10, 2026: Vedic astrology researcher Jignesh Jani has called for greater emphasis on peace, diplomacy, and international cooperation while sharing his symbolic interpretation of current planetary alignments through the lens of traditional Jyotish. According to Jani, Vedic astrology can offer a philosophical perspective on collective human experiences, but it should not be considered a scientifically established method for predicting geopolitical events or international conflicts.
Jani explained that many practitioners of Vedic astrology interpret planetary cycles as symbolic reflections of broader social, political, and economic trends. He noted that the present Mars–Rahu conjunction, traditionally referred to as Angarak Yoga, is often associated with increased strategic activity, assertive leadership, and periods of heightened geopolitical attention. Similarly, the Saturn–Neptune alignment is viewed by many astrologers as symbolizing institutional change, evolving global alliances, and long-term transformation.
Despite these traditional interpretations, Jani stressed that the direction of international affairs ultimately depends on human judgment, diplomatic engagement, and responsible policymaking. He emphasized that governments, international organizations, and global leaders have the ability to shape outcomes through dialogue, cooperation, and peaceful negotiations.
Jani also highlighted the symbolic role of Jupiter in Vedic astrology. Regarded as a planet representing wisdom, ethics, justice, education, and diplomacy, Jupiter is believed by many practitioners to encourage balanced decision-making and constructive communication during periods of uncertainty.
“Astrology should inspire thoughtful reflection rather than fear,” Jani said. “The future is not predetermined by planetary movements.
